Monumento dei caduti
-The famous “Monumento dei caduti” from which you can also appreciate the fantastic view of Ortigia. From there you may also find the starting point of the Syracuse cycle path, which is extended along the north coast of the city. This bike path is one of the most fascinating cycle paths in Italy and it is called the Rossana Maiorca of Syracuse, unforgettable. From here you can reach with a walk / ride along the sea a second free solarium called Solarium “dei Ru Frati” and moving ahead further you will arrive to the “Tonnara di Santa Panagia”, a unique place that we recommend visiting to spend a morning in a suggestive sea and general environment.
Siracusa open tour
The stop of the “SIRACUSA OPEN TOUR”, that is the open-air tourist bus to visit the city with the multilingual interactive guide. The ticket costs € 4.10 and lasts 24 hours. The Hop-on/Hop-off formula allows you to get on and off at each of the stops among the itinerary for the entire validity of the ticket;

This activity will need about 4 hours. Finally, you may also find several good restaurants and pizzerias outside Ortigia.
